Resolution for Printing
A good resolution for printing is 300 dots per inch (dpi). Anything below 300 dpi will print as choppy blocks, jagged and blurry. The degree of pixelation will depend on how low the dpi number is. So a 75 dpi image will print with a high degree of blocks and jagged edges instead of a clear image.
When scanning photographs or images into your computer for printing, always scan at 300 dpi to make sure you have the correct resolution for printing. Most desktop printers can print up to 600 dpi, but your computer will take additional processing time to print a image scanned in at 600 dpi.
Monitor Images vs Print Images
Just because it looks great on the monitor doesn't mean it will look great printed. Most images displayed on a monitor have a resolution between 72 and 96 dpi. Only use low resolution photographs and images for display on a monitor or for uploading to the Internet.
Also, if you upsample a low resolution image by adding more pixels or dots per inch to it---the image will still print blurry with pixelation. You must rescan the image at a higher resolution to solve the pixelation problem before printing.
300 dpi - Provides for high-quality scans that are perfect for reproducing same-sized prints.
600 dpi - Higher resolution allows the scanner to capture more photo information and is great for enlargements and reprints as well.
ALWAYS - submit original photographs, or raw data from your digital camera.
NEVER - submit prints of scanned photographs
NEVER - submit photocopies of photographs
NEVER - submit prints made from a laser or ink-jet printer
REMEMBER - that even though a copy may look good enough to you, our professional equipment sees things that the human eye cannot. Inadequate submissions drastically reduce the quality of the finished product.
Our goal is to help you to get the best possible reproduction ceramic picture of your loved one.

When installed correctly the ceramic picture will be held for years; and still be the same color.
Installation for ceramic pictures is typically very simple.Your ceramic picture should be installed on a smooth, polished surface for proper bonding to take place. It is important that the temperature where you're working be more than 60 degrees and that there be no water in the air on area where you are installing the picture. You should make sure you have the following available as you work: rubbing alcohol, a roll of paper towels, a ruler, a pencil, measuring tape, white caulk and, of course, the picture. Use the alcohol and paper towel to clean the area where you intend to place the picture, and you're about ready to begin. Before you dive right into the installation, however, be sure to hold the picture in the place you intend to install it. Examine it closely to make sure you like the location. Moving the picture once it has been installed can be very difficult, maybe even impossible.
Use these steps to install your ceramic picture.
Use a measuring tape and pencil to mark the center point of the spot where you intend to install the picture.
Measure the width and height of the picture.
Divide the width and height into two.
From the center point you marked use the divided width and height dimensions to mark the exact dimensions of the spot where the picture will be installed.
Place the picture in the spot you have marked to be sure your markings are exact.
NOTE: We do not supply adhesive tape or glue with a picture!!!
Stick tape on the back side of the picture (3M Adhesive Strips )
You can use also 3M Fast Drying Liquid Super Glue .
Note: use ONLY one !!! (tape or glue ,not both ! )
Line the picture up with your markings, and firmly press it to the surface. Hold it very firmly for about 2 minutes, and your picture will be installed.
Run a small beat of sealant (Wal Mart or Home Depot) around the picture to keep the moisture out and make it look better. Please Note: This is a permanent bond.
